Minister Pokharel urges civil society to refrain from politics

Kathmandu, Sept. 14 : Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Giriraj Mani Pokharel, has urged the civil society not to be engaged in politics in the name of civil society.

Holding discussions with the newly-elected working committee of the National Campaign for Education at his office in Singha Durbar yesterday Education Minister Pokhrel said the civil society has a different role in the changed context with the government giving high priority to strengthening public education.
