Kathmandu, August 26: The Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to strengthen party discipline.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda’ at party headquarters Dhumrabarahi directed all leaders and cadres to put their dissatisfaction in the party meeting, not in public space. The meeting has decided to ask clarification from those who put their views in public space instead of party meetings. The meeting decided that party leaders and cadres onwards would not make any personal comments on their party leaders or cadres.
The party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed the meeting has nominated Devendra Parajuli, Kalpana Dhamala, Padma Rai and Kiran Rai as members in the central committee. Likewise, the meeting has changed the responsibility of party sister wings in charge, chief and deputy chiefs of the party department.
Bhanubhakta Dhakal has been nominated as chief of National Security Department while Ram Kumar Rai as the deputy chief of the same department.
Similarly, Pramesh Hamal has been nominated as the deputy coordinator of Policy Research Foundation. Likewise, Bishnu Rijal has been nominated as the deputy chief of the foreign affairs department.
The party spokesperson Shrestha said the next meeting of the secretariat would settle issue relating to Diaspora committee along with the issuance of related directives. He further informed the next secretariat meeting would resolve issues relating to a metropolitan city, central advisor committee, national council, senior citizen’s forum, and commissions.
he meeting also wished for the good health of party chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
