Kathmandu, August 26: President to Development and Technology Committee Kanlyani Kumari Khadka has presented a report on the Advertisement Regulatory Bill 2076 in the House of Representatives meeting today.
Likewise, answering the questions raised by the lawmakers in the meeting of the house today, Education, Science and Technology Minister Giriraj Mani Pokhrel said the country can be declared fully literate by the coming year.
He added that 51 districts have already been declared fully literate, some are about the complete the process and the remaining districts will be declared fully literate by coming years and works are being carried out in the same direction.
Earlier, in the meeting of the House, Lawmakers drew government attention to recently dengue epidemic, road construction, problems of farmers and unemployment.
The lawmakers demanded for special management as dengue has been spreading even in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and other big cities.
Asking for the timely construction of the mid-hill highway, the lawmakers said the public has been suffering from due to dilapidated conditions of roads. The lawmaker also drew the government’s attention about sufferings of the public for private hospitals have been charging exorbitantly.
