High-level political leaderships of Nepal and India reiterate commitment to take relations of both countries to a new height

Kathmandu, August 21:  The high-level political leaderships of Nepal and India have reiterated the commitment to take relations of both countries to a new height.

Both sides of Nepal and India said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi had expressed commitment to make mutual relations more dynamic and progressive.
After the meeting with PM Oli this afternoon, Indian Minister for External Affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, informed that both Nepal and India expressed commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

PM Oli saying Nepal is pursuing prosperity putting development at the center, expressed gratitude to India for the harmony with Nepal.
On the occasion, the Indian Minister Jaishankar said bilateral relations between India and Nepal are strengthening, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi pledged to take the relations to a new height.

Responding to queries raised after the meeting, Foreign Affairs Advisor Dr. Rajan Bhattarai said Prime Ministers of both countries will receive the report of Eminent Persons Group at a convenient time.
