CIAA files corruption case against four including Chief of Irrigation Development Division Rautahat

Rauthhat, August 6: Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a corruption case at special court against four people including Chief of Irrigation Development Division Rautahat Ajit Kumar Sribastav for embezzling 33.2 million rupees by submitting fake bills.

The commission has sought compensation of the amount along with the equal amount of the fine from the accused.

The antigraft body has also registered a case against Binod Prasad, an assistant officer at Rukum District Forest Office and other three for embezzling 614 thousand rupees by forging documents and exporting herbs illegally.
