Railing collapse injures 18 in Parsa

Parsa, August 5: 18 persons were injured after the ladder’s railing of Dudheshwarnath Mahadeb temple crumbled at Rambhaurivatha of Parsa district today.

Of the injured, three are reported to be in critical condition, according to the Parsa Police. They are receiving treatment at Narayani hospital in Birgunj and some who suffered minor injuries returned home after treatment at local health centre, the police informed.

The railing of the ladder collapsed when a crowd of people were offering holy water to the temple.

Likewise, four persons were injured when a magic van overturned after being uncontrolled at Chhapapipara of Bara district and three of them are in critical condition, according Bara police.
