DPM Pokhrel directs civil servants to stress on result-oriented works
Kathmandu, August 1: Deputy PM and Defense Minister Ishwor Pokhrel directed the civil servants to stress on result-oriented works.
While speaking in the annual review meeting of the Defense Ministry, DPM Pokhrel directed the subordinate bodies to remain focused on the result of their works. He also expressed a hope that the work execution agreement singed between the secretaries and respective ministers will be helpful to head the development projects in the new spirit.
DPM Pokhrel also stressed on having proper coordination among the bodies concerns for the timely completion of the projects as lack of coordination has been one of the major factors in non-implementation of the plans put forward by the government.
In the meeting, Secretary at Defense Ministry Reshmi Raj Pandey informed that during the last fiscal year 95% of financial and physical work got completed.
Likewise, Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa stressed on implementing national security and defense policies and modernization of Nepal Army.
