Ministry of Federal Administration and General Administration asked local levels to forward budget details to center

June 26, Kathmandu : The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has instructed all the local levels to send the details of the budget to the central level.

According to Ministry’s local level coordination section officer Janak Raj Sharma, all the local levels have been told to send the budget that they presented in the rural and municipal assemblies within the next three days beginning from today.

Almost all 753 local levels (six metropolises, 11 sub metropolises, 276 municipalities and 460 rural municipalities) had presented the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2019-20 on Tuesday as per the Clause 71 (1) of Local Government Operations Act -2074 BS and Clause 21 (3) of the Inter-Government Fiscal Management Act-2074 BS.
