NCP Chair Prachanda stressed on spreading awareness among public regarding modern farming
Lalitpur, May 14: International Organic Agriculture Summit has begun in Lalitpur form today.
Inaugurating the Summit, Nepal Communist Party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said warned that the imbalance between nature and human being may lead to the apocalypse.
Meanwhile, Chairman Prachanda stressed on the need of spreading awareness among the public regarding appropriate and modern farming. Meantime, Chairman Prachanda also emphasized that there should be a heated debate on whether the capitalist economy or socialist system is appropriate to the country.
Also speaking on the occasion, Agriculture and Live stoke development Minister Chakarapani Khanal said that solution to the problems created with the excessive use of pesticide will be sought soon.
Addressing the same programme, Land Management, cooperative and Poverty Alleviation Padma Aryal said the government is formulating land use act soon. The two-day summit has witnessed the participation of experts from Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Cuba.
