23 Nepali girls rescued from Mizoram
Mizoram, May 9: Twenty-three Nepali girls about to be taken to a third country on the pretext of foreign employment have been rescued from India. The girls were rescued with the support of the Indian government from the northern State of Mizoram of India.
According to Chief District Officer Janak Raj Dahal The girls were handed over to Nepali authorities in the border transit of Kakarvitta this morning. They are now taking shelter at the Maiti Nepal eastern regional office.
