Kathmandu, May 4: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said government is for mainstreaming Muslim community through the education. He stressed, for the empowerment of the Muslim community, the Muslim children must be given education.
At a programme organized by the National Muslim Commission in the capital today, PM Oli said, “Compulsory education, social awareness, entrepreneurship development are equally important for uplifting the Muslim community.”
He made it clear that the incumbent government respects all equally as the government is composed of the people from diverse communities.
Meanwhile, Muslim Commission chair, Samim Miyan Ansari complained that the Muslim community has not got the reservation quota with special rights in the civil service and other facilities as the women and Dalits have been getting. He also demanded that Id should be declared a national holiday. (RSS)
