Kathmandu, May 9: The House of Representatives Women and Social Committee has directed the National Inclusion Commission to submit details of the outcome of the inclusive reservation provisions.
The meeting of the Committee today decided to seek details about the provisions to see if the goals of the reservation provision have been met.
The Committee has also directed the Commission to report to it in every three months about the efforts being made for the protection and promotion of various backward groups, people with disabilities, elderly citizens, workers, peasants, minorities, marginalized community, the Karnali people and financial backward persons.
The committee has also directed the Ministry of Finance to provide necessary budget to the commission in order to meet its need for physical structure and human resources, and to accelerate its performance. (RSS)
