PM expresses condolences on the demise of senior journalist Puskar Lal Shrestha

Kathmandu, 17 April: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed sorrow over the demise of chief editor of Nepal Samacharpatra Daily, senior journalist Puskar Lal Shrestha.

Prime Minister Oli paid last tribute to the late Shrestha and extended deep condolences towards the bereaved family members. Born in August 1959, Shrestha passed away yesterday morning. Last rites of Shrestha were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat yesterday itself. Shrestha was the founding chair of the Nepal Samacharpatra Daily publication and Nepal Media Society. He was also a board member of Rastriya Samachar Samiti and the executive member of Nepal Press Institute, Editors Society Nepal, Nepal Press Club, and Press Council Nepal.
